Voice Devoted's Primary Members
Voice Devoted is made up of three primary members: Braden Pearcey, Jonah Bayman, and Sarah Vaia. Beneath are bios, role descriptions, and information on each individual member of the band.
BRADEN PEARCEY
Braden Pearcey is the frontman of Voice Devoted. He started Voice Devoted in the spring of 2023 when he began to write music heavily.
He began Voice Devoted as a songwriting flagship where he could pour his thoughts and passion into something that could be felt feasibly. His early songs ranged from expressions of life and hope to blatantly vulnerable confessions of hopelessness. His songs took on a more refined, weighty tone as he wrote through 2023 into 2024. Between the early summer of 2023 and the end of 2024, Braden had penned approximately 200 songs.
Braden is the lead vocalist/lead guitarist, producer, and composer of Voice Devoted. Drawing from his own life experiences for most of the band's content, Braden's music is often expansive and emotional with deep, introspective undertones. His Les Paul, Mood, defines Voice Devoted's vintage-colored guitars, and the Shure SM7b delivers his characteristic velvet vocals.
Jonah Bayman
Jonah Bayman is the keys/bass player of Voice Devoted. He joined the band in the summer of 2024, shortly before Sarah Vaia.
Before joining the band, Jonah had collaborated loosely with Braden to help out on keys for a song performance at an arts showcase, but the song never ended up happening. A couple months later, Braden recruited Jonah for the band, and the band held a makeshift practice session. The session cemented the band, and Jonah took up keys and bass.
Jonah currently stands as a multi-instrumentalist for the band, occasionally stepping in for recording parts and other support.
SARAH VAIA
Sarah Vaia is the female vocalist of Voice Devoted. She joined the band in the summer of 2024 around the same time as Jonah Bayman.
Braden recruited Sarah Vaia as the lead vocalist for Voice Devoted because of unsurety regarding his own vocal capabilities. Sarah hesitantly stepped into the role and committed to recording with the band after the band's first recording session.
On top of vocals, Sarah has played a large role in shaping the band. Her advice and presence in the band during the rocky (late) summer/fall of 2024 helped the band stay intact, and her steady vision continues to impact the band's content.
Currently, Sarah is a second vocalist alongside Braden.
